Essentials Haul

Retail therapy always brightens my mood so here are some of my little pick ups from the last month which I have been meaning to get, simply run out of or just wanted a cheeky spend!

Max Factor - Creme Puff Pressed Powder - I have always loved this product and this buy was a top up from my latest one but also I also find that with the winter months approaching I need to adjust my colour anyway so this was brilliant timing! I wear the Shade Medium and use the powder instead of bronzer for a natural day look - would definitely recommend although i find the sponge applicator or very low quality 4/5 Buy HERE

Redken Diamond Oil - From my hairdressers i got the Redken mini sample collection consisiting of the Shatterproof Shine Oil and the Diamond Oil shampoo and conditioner. I was reccomended this because my hair is farily thin and has a tendency to frizz and this product certainly prevents that. It makes my hair feel well nourished and slick but at the same time is very light so does not weigh my hair down in an unnatural manner. I will definitley be purchasing the full size range of the products! 5/5 Buy HERE
I also purcahsed Maybelline's Volum' Express Lift Up Mascara. This buy was because I had simply lost my other mascara (which seems to be happening a little too often). Im really picky with my mascaras and the style of the applicator tending to go for thicker and fuller brushes and so this suits me amazingly. I normally find it really hard to pick a mascara just because I cant really sample them but I was really pleased with this buy. Becuase this is not the newest product in the range I think the price is really reasonable aswell! 5/5 Buy HERE

For those who know me i'm a massive sucker for a lip balm of any time and I have this ridiculous habit of never finishing them - so that is definitely on my november aims list!
Anyway this is a new product out from the Revlon Colorburst collection, with smart packaging in the style of an actual lipstick I chose the 'Invite only' colour (although it doesn't really make a difference as it doesn't come out in that colour). It comes out clear and sparkly but not in an overpowering way and is really lovely as a lipstick over coat however as a lip balm as such I was not massively impressed. With a short term softness on the lips this feeling did not last for me and made me feel like I needed to apply more - so in a sense making my lips worse.

Revlon Chic Nails

When I was shopping this weekend I had the specific aim of looking for a kind of sparkly dark green autumnal colour for my nails but I am a sucker for both blue and grey so when I saw this I just had to have it!

As you can see the colour comes out differently in the lighting but sticking to its name it is definitely a very chic colour and can be worn so easily in so many different ways especially with winter approaching. This is my first dark colour of the year on my nails so obviously had to make it a good one!

I love Revlon nail polishes anyway as I find they have a long/dainty applicator brush which I find gives me more control over the lines I am painting and its fairly fluid so is not thick or clumpy. Additionally despite the rather hefty price I personally would recommend that it is worth is because of the bottle size causing them to last super long!

Mini SEVENTEEN Make Up Haul

I have been in desperate need for a good shop for a while now so I thought I should share with you two of the best products I have come across recently that in my opinion can hardly be faulted! Enjoy...

Firstly the Seventeen 'Flawless, Poreless Primer'. I am so impressed with this product, you can buy it as a compact or as a liquid fluid and i went for the compact purely to minimise mess and i was pleasantly surprised. I apply with my fingertips to all areas of my face with particular attention to my eyes helping eye makeup to stay on, it really is no mess as it is colourless and amazingly does not leave a heavy or sticky texture on to skin. It leaves a really silky feeling to my skin after application but is so far away from being silky in an oily sense- its very hard to describe haha but i would definitely 100% recommend it especially with such a reasonable price. 5\5 Buy HERE

Sticking to the same branding i have dicovered Seventeen's 'Miracle Matte Concealer Stick'. This product has definitely been sent down from above to tackle the blemishes that appear all too often on my face. With a lipstick style set out i simply apply to my red marks and smooth in with my foundation brush although im sure finger tips would work just aswell! I use the shade 'Fair' as although my skin is probably a bit darker it works as a base layer to my foundation so after applying both products my skin tone appears even without patches! 5/5 Buy HERE

Both products are new to the Seventeen range with really fun and playful packaging and amazingly reasonable prices get your hands on them as soon as possibleeee!!!
